The Diamond Award honors women in our community who colors the lives of others by giving of themselves both professionally AND personally, who lead by example and who consistently represent the Oconee Chamber motto of engaging others, inspiring others, empowering others and connecting others.

Nominees should live or work in Oconee County and will be evaluated according to the following criteria:

• Serves as mentor or role model for helping women reach their full leadership potential

• Demonstrates excellence, creativity, and initiative in their business or profession. Give specific examples to demonstrate the candidate’s contributions

• Provides valuable service by devoting time & energy to improve the quality of life for others in the community

• Involvement with the Oconee Chamber of Commerce through events, programs, committees, and volunteerism
